…Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither has entered into the heart of men
The things that God has prepared for them that Love Him.
I Corinthians 2:9
I was driving to work recently when I noticed a large smokestack, from
An old industry building, that had the word REVOLUTION written down it.
I have seen this stack many times through the years that I have lived in this
area. I even played ball at a field nearby called Revolution Ball Field, but I
never gave it a lot of thought.
When I got to work this day I looked up Webster’s definition of the
word Revolution: sudden, radical, or complete change. I got to thinking
about that. That is exactly what every born again Christian goes through.
A Revolution.
When we accept Christ as our savior we go through a complete change.
II Corinthians 5:17 says, "If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:
old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. There is
our complete change. All things are become new.
Not only is a revolution a complete change, but Webster also tells us that
a revolution is a rotation. A rotation is a turning. The Lord said in Joel 2:12
"turn ye even to me with all your heart." We turn from our sin, and to the
Lord when we receive salvation.
Has there been a revolution in your heart and life? I hope you can say
there has been. If not it is simple. Just as the word is described as a turning;
all you have to do is turn to God. I promise you, He will be waiting there for
you. He tells us in His word in Revelation 3:20 ..Behold I stand at the door
and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to
Him,… So you see, He is waiting for you. It is a free gift He is offering to you,
all you have to do is reach out to Him, and take it.
